CosmicAI and NRAO Collaboration Highlighted at the 247th American Astronomical Society Meeting

We’re excited to see our collaborators at the U.S. National Science Foundation National Radio Astronomy Observatory spotlight recent progress from the NSF-Simons AI Institute for Cosmic Origins in a new press release following the American Astronomical Society meeting.

The release highlights how researchers across the institute — including early-career fellows and NSF NRAO scientists — are “developing the tools and techniques that will unlock discoveries from instruments like the ngVLA” (Eric Murphy, NRAO & CosmicAI). This work reflects CosmicAI’s broader mission: serving as a nexus of collaboration that increases the accessibility of astronomy and AI data and methods through open-source AI-powered tools, data sharing, and AI educational initiatives.
