Job Description

The newly established NSF-Simons Institute for Cosmic Origins (CosmicAI) seeks outstanding Postdoctoral Scholars trained at the interfaces of scientific machine learning,  computational mathematics, and high-performance computing.  The Scholars,  based at the Oden Institute for Computational Engineering and Sciences, will collaborate with researchers across the CosmicAI Institute to create cutting-edge AI methodologies and tools.  The Scholars will have access to world-class computational resources at the Texas Advanced Computing Center, including Vista, a newly instantiated 600 GPU node cluster.  Applicants must have a Doctorate in Science, Engineering, Computer Science, Computational Science, Applied Mathematics, or a related technical field. Candidates with experience in simulation and scientific machine learning are preferred.For more information about the project see the links below.
